Dear Mr Chance,
Re: Plot number, Home type/name, Development name, Southampton.
I moved into the above property on date you legally completed and since then I have found a number of defects with my new home. When I first discovered the defects three weeks ago I gave a list to both Sue Jones the sales negotiator and Bob Terbuilder the site manager and, despite also writing to your customer care department, I regret to inform you nothing has been done.
Quite frankly I find this unacceptable. I enclose my original list that now includes even more problems that have subsequently come to light. It is bad enough to find basic things wrong with my new home but then to be treated with such indifference beggars belief.
I therefore look to you to personally investigate why my complaint has yet to be addressed and instruct your staff to rectify all the defects listed, to my full satisfaction, as your company is required to under the terms of the NHBC Buildmark warranty.
Please note that I am not prepared to let this matter drop, I will not rest until my new home is free of inherent defects caused by, in my opinion, a lack of care and attention during the construction.
